Namera Mosque, Mecca

Namera Mosque is one of the most important Islamic monuments in Arafat and is the second largest mosque in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region after the Grand Mosque. It holds great significance for Muslims, who flock to it on the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah, to pray the combined noon and afternoon prayers on the day of Arafah.

The mosque was built in the place where the Prophet delivered his farewell sermon during the Farewell Pilgrimage in the middle of the second century AH. It has six minarets, each 60 meters high, and three domes, and contains 64 doors across its 10 main entrances. The mosque also has an external broadcasting room equipped to transmit the sermon and prayers directly by satellite.

The Prophet forbade standing in the valley of Arna, stating that all of Arafat is a stand except for the valley of Arna. The valley is not part of Arafah but is located close to it.

In conclusion, the Namera Mosque is a significant place of worship for Muslims, who come to it during the Hajj pilgrimage to pray and follow the example of the Prophet. With its impressive architecture and modern facilities, the mosque is an important landmark in Arafat and a testament to the faith and devotion of Muslims.
